The ocean wave candle is fitted onto a holder with a clear plastic tube below it, which is used to collect the wax that has melted.

At the bottom of the tube is a hanging wick. When the candle has been completely burned, the plastic tube casing can be removed and the wax turned upside down, producing a brand new candle.
